A full inch of blade, dark as night: blued 1.2210 carbon steel, square point, roof-shaped spine, concave profile (full hollow) and thumb notch. Scales made of smoked oak. The back is engraved with the excerpt “The Man in the Arena” from Roosevelt's speech.
An 8/8" blade demands courage – and stands for exactly that. The lion engraving symbolises determination; the back bears the famous excerpt from “The Man in the Arena”. The high blade weight ensures steady guidance and a particularly full shaving feel, even with dense beard growth. The smoked oak gives the razor a warm, natural feel and a striking look.

Use and care:
- Strop on the leather strop before every shave.
- Prepare with warm water/pre-shave and lather; flat angle (~30°), minimal pressure.
- Rinse after use and dry completely; lightly oil the carbon steel for longer storage.
- Store dry; protect the wooden scales from standing moisture and aggressive cleaning agents.
