Frequently asked questions about initial podiatry equipment

Which instruments do you need to start in foot care?

As basic equipment, at least nail nippers, corner nippers, cuticle nippers, a nail elevator, a scalpel handle with blades and a file. In addition, instrument dishes and a box for reprocessing and storage. The podiatry starter sets already cover the nippers.

How many instrument sets do I need?

Because instruments must be reprocessed after every client, most practices work with several sets so that there is no waiting time between two appointments. How many you need depends on the number of treatments per day and the length of your reprocessing cycle. What is important for mobile foot care?
